Eddie Concerned About His Son After He Knew Weed Smell

Eddie and his son were in a public place and there was a strong smell of weed. He didn’t say anything, but his 16-year-old son called it out and said it smelled like weed. He didn’t say anything to his son, but in his head, he wondered if he should be concerned that he knew what that smelled like.

Everyone agreed Eddie is out of touch and since his son is in high school, he knows what weed smells like because he’s probably been around it and that he probably doesn’t know everything his son does. They thought he should not be concerned because it’s a normal part of being a teenager. Eddie said that when he was 16, his parents knew where he was at all times, and he did not know what weed smelled like. He did admit that he drank alcohol for the first time when he was 17 because his older brother drank it, but his 16-year-old son is the oldest child, so he doesn’t know where he learned it from.

Bobby Bones and Amy shared that at that age they knew what weed smelled like because they were around it, even if they weren’t smoking. They determined at that age there is nothing for Eddie to be concerned about and that this is a great opportunity for him to talk to his son about it and encourage him to be honest if he finds himself in any bad situations.
